Affiliate Disclosure

Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, I may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. You pay exactly what you would have paid anyway.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

What that does and doesn’t mean

It doesn’t change a verdict. A game I’d earn nothing from and a game I’d earn from go through the same four checks and get the same answer. Plenty of games on this site have no affiliate link attached at all, including several I recommend most.

It also doesn’t change what gets covered. I don’t pick games by commission rate, and the games I turn down are listed publicly with the reason.

Where the links go

Affiliate links here point to storefronts that sell games and gear — among them Amazon, and various PC game and accessory retailers. Steam has no affiliate programme, so any Steam link on this site earns nothing and is there purely because it’s the most useful place to send you.

How you’ll know

Every post containing affiliate links says so at the top, before the links appear — not buried at the bottom.

Sponsored posts are labelled as sponsored, clearly, at the top. If a studio sends me a free copy of a game, I say so in the post. A free copy never guarantees positive coverage, and it never has.

If something looks off

If you ever think a recommendation here reads like it was bought, tell me. That’s the fastest way to keep this site worth reading, and I’d genuinely rather hear it.
